Journal of an Undead: Love Stories

Description

More than horror, more than romance, this contains five stories of a Vrykolakas - Greek vampire - as he travels the world seeking the love he lost when they were murdered together in 1503. These five tales are weaved together in a unique way, as the novel is part of a trilogy, the last in which, set in contemporary times, the narrator finds these tales taped in microcassettes.

Here the adventures begin with the abduction of Mikos into the Turk's Janissary Army, meeting of Althea on Crete (shown on cover), their murder and his return from the grave for vengeance. The next tale takes him to the Bahamas seeking sunken treasure where he meets three women, one of whom he's sure has Althea's soul. In the third tale, he follows a free spirit from England to the new world as war has broken out there, because he's sure she's the one he needs to feel mortal again, and makes her undead but loses control of her. In Old West America, he tries to figure out why a sheriff has it in for him, as he fears his demons have kept a secret relationship from him. And finally, as the third tale in Hollywood during the Depression unfolds, the narrator begins to understand why she's the one who found those tapes.

Come live with undeath in a way that will feel so real to you that reading will be like being in a warm bath while sensing there's someone in the house watching you.
