About the author
My name is Michael (Mike) Larzelere, and I was born in Northville, Michigan and grew up in Farmington, Michigan. I grew up in a large family with two sisters and five brothers, I was the second youngest. I never attended kindergarten, though I did spend three years in first grade. I worked through most of my high school years but did manage to graduate. After high school he went into the carpenter apprenticeship program, but eventually dropped out, worked in a gas station and then decided to college. As I worked my way through college I got married. I graduated from college with a degree in special education teaching the emotionally impaired and learning disabled.
Through my life I delved into writing, writing mostly poetry, having some of my poems published in college and local writer’s group magazines and online writer’s clubs I taught for nearly 40 years, retired and decided to take up golfing as my full-time passion. I currently live with my wife and my elephant collection.
