Growing up, her mother spent time in her elementary school classrooms reading in character voices sparking a vivid imagination for Mona Leah. As she began to mature her father took her to the library every other week continuing her reading passion. She could often be found immersed in novels, dreaming of creating her own worlds through words. Her writing journey started in earnest in the 8th grade, she would have her close friends engage in short stories. Starting the imaginative words and requesting they all add on. Sparking a lifelong dedication to the craft.
